importation mark and hallmark for A&N over C.S.L into a lobed contour, Army and Navy Cooperative Society Ltd, circa 1910

gilt 3/4 plate Swiss lever, cut and compensated bi-metallic balance.

with black Roman numerals, two subsidiary dials at one o’clock and six o’clock, scale 0-30 and 0.60, outer chapter ring 0-70 and reading ‘miles per hour from ¼ mile distances’, cuvette and case numbered 2481, import mark.

Back of the case engraved with the Most Honourable Order of the Bath Military Commander Badge, inside case engraved with the dedication inscription.
