In original case with the Cardinal Mastai-Ferretti coat of arms and dated 1842. The coat of arms is Cardinal Mastai-Ferretti. He was created Cardinal in 1840 and elected Pope in 1846, taking name of Pius IX. His reign of 32 years is the longest in Church history.
