This Greek gold ring represents the knot of Hercules, a symbol of eternal love in ancient Rome and used as a protective amulet with healing powers in Egypt and in Greek and Roman times.

This Greek gold ring is forged like a Hercules knot, which is the one with which the Roman hero tied the skin of the Nemean lion around his neck and which, in ancient Rome, traditionally tied the bride's dress so that only the groom could untie it, therefore, it became a symbol of eternal love. The Hercules knot also spread to Egypt, where it was attributed healing powers, while in Greek and Roman times it was considered a protective amulet.
